How do Sales Kinetics Modules generate sales growth for clients?   
Many sales consulting firms have never managed a sales force.  Of those consultants that have, most have done so with little skill or merit.  Most companies have had sales consultants arrive explain concepts and when the consultants leave the ideas are never implemented, or worse the ideas are implemented but they are wrong for your firm!
 
The partners of Sales Kinetics sold our firm in the end of 2008.  Afterward we asked ourselves what attributes did our company have that led to year over year sales growth of over 30% for more than a 10 year period.  Our business model was not much different from our major competitors, we were rarely less expensive and our industry as a whole was growing at about 2% per year.  Our company did no mass or media style marketing campaigns therefore the next natural step was to look at how we managed our sales force.  What made our sales management philosophy so different?
 
We initially met with over 30 CEOs (the number is over 50 CEOs to date) from the Midwest Region and reviewed the structure of their companies in comparison to their growth rates.  We began seeing similarities between companies that had adopted similar sales management strategies with the firms growth rate.  At this point we had only identified two firms as well as ourselves with sales growth rates greater than 30% for over a three year period. 
 
Then we had a major breakthrough regarding the importance of the nine sales catalysts.   Sales Kinetics met with a CEO who specializes in turning distressed companies into profitable companies.  This CEO was a superior manager and took charge of his sales force and setup a process with all nine sales catalysts firmly in place.  The company went from being purchased for less than bank financing by the turnaround firm to a high level of profitability with over 40% growth within a one year period.  The firm would continue to grow at this pace until the turnaround firm sold the firms to an acquiring entity.  The purchaser was in a similar industry and merged the two sales forces.  It immediately removed the current sales manager from the the high growth rate firm and placed their sales manager over selling for the combined new entity.  This sales manager had a different management philosophy, one that used none of the nine sales catalysts.  The results were immediate and disastrous, growth slowed and the new sales manager had to be removed.  The acquired high growth company became a problem child again.  The purchaser quickly placed the High Growth CEO back in charge of the sales force for both firms, who in tern, put the nine sales catalysts back in place and returned the high growth rate in which the purchaser had paid a premium.
